Summer holidays, as they should be
The Katschberg lies between the Hohe Tauern National Park and the UNESCO Lungau-Nockberge Biosphere Reserve. Over 200 kilometres of hiking trails lead across alpine pastures, to mountain huts and up to the summits, and many tours start right at the village.
In summer, the Almbahn takes you comfortably up the Aineck. For children there's Katschi's summer toboggan run, the Ponyalm and the Katschhausen adventure world, and for mountain bikers signposted tours on the mountain and in the valley.
And after a day in the mountains? Fire up the sauna, light the grill and round off the evening on the terrace. In the Almchalet and the Chalet Panorama, the hot tub on the terrace awaits as well.

Wir haben schon zum 3. Mal Urlaub auf dem Katschberg gemacht. Die Ausstattung der Hütten ist top, toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und ein super netter Hüttenwirt. Wir kommen sicher auch ein 4tes Mal wieder.

Sehr gemütliche und schöne Hütte direkt am Berg. Direkte Wanderungen von der Hütte aus möglich, bei schlechtem Wetter kann man den Tag auch sehr gut in der Hütte verbringen.

Die Hütte am Katschberg ist traumhaft und bietet alles, was man braucht. Nach einer langen Wanderung mit gutem Wein in den Whirlpool und bei Schlechtwetter in die Sauna.

Wir waren mit der Hütte rundum zufrieden, für die Kinder gab es im Almdorf viele Spielplätze und Angebote und auch das Wandern kam nicht zu kurz. Gerne wieder.
